Andres “Dre” Campos can best be described as nothing short of a power DJ! Dre’s unduplicatable style of mixing and music selection has moved many dance floors and shaken the radio airwaves from West to East.
Born in Sunny California, Dre began DJing in 1997 because, as he puts it, “When I used to break dance as a kid, I got to the point where I wanted to take control of the music and raise it to the NEXT level and move the crowd. So I decided the best way to do that was to become a DJ and create the music myself.”
After four years of paying dues and working at various hot spots in Northern California, Dre left California in 2001 and headed for Sin City (Las Vegas, NV) to join Clear Channel’s KFMS 101.9 KISS FM. There, he mixed- hosted on-air, and was the mix show coordinator. He hosted two specialty shows: Club KISS (mixed by DJ Dre – Saturdays 10p-2am) and “Global Nation” (Sundays 12a-4am) featuring local guest DJs and some of the hottest DJs/producers in the world such as Christopher Lawrence, Richard Vission, Bobby D, Jose Nunez, Richard F, Bad Boy Bill, Robbie Rivera and DJ RAP ... and the list goes on!
Along with working in Las Vegas for over 3 years at the Palms Hotel at venues such as RAIN-Playboy-Moon- Ghost Bar, Dre was then asked to open Ghost Bar in Dallas, Texas. With great passion, Dre helped Ghost-Bar accomplish a 7-year run and held a residency at N9NE Groups Ghost-bar-Dallas. He has also worked the crowds in cities such as Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Phoenix, Austin, and Charlotte among many others. Headlining events such as, ESPY Awards at Drais at the W-HOLLYWOOD HOTEL, LMFAO, Black Eyed-Peas, NFL, NBA, A-list celebs to name of few. His mixing styles range from House - ROCK – TOP 40 – and whatever moves the crowd! His diverse music selection and innate ability to read a crowd have made him one of the most in-demand and highly requested DJs in the nightlife industry.
